Expanding Recognition National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine in the International Accreditation Forum
The National Accreditation Agency of Ukraine reports that during the Joint IAF-ILAC Mid-Term Meetings, which took place from 4 to 11 April at Le Méridien Parkhotel in Frankfurt, Germany, it was decided to recognize the European Accreditation Cooperation (EA) for the four sub-fields of the IAF Multilateral Agreement (IAF MLA), namely:
- ISO 50001 – “Energy management systems. Requirements for usage guidelines”
- ISO/IEC 27001 – “Information Security Management Systems. Requirements”
- ISO 13485 – “Medical products. Quality management systems. Regulatory Requirements”
- ISO 22000 – “Food Safety Management Systems. Requirements for any organization in the food chain”
Thus, all EA members, including NAAU, who have recognized in similar areas within the EA, have automatically become signatories to the IAF MLA regarding the above sub-fields.
This enables the Conformity Fssessment Bodies accredited by the NAAU to use the combined IAF MLA mark within the scope of the recognition of the NAAU at the IAF in its certification documents subject to the signing of the relevant license agreement with the NAAU.
Detailed information on the fields of recognition of NAAU in IAF can be found at the link.
