Food safety culture: new legal requirements adopted
Last October, we informed you about the plans of the European Commission to introduce new legal requirements with respect to food safety culture. In March 2021, these new requirements were adopted in EU Regulation 2021/382, amending the Annexes to Regulation (EC) No 852/2004.
The new decisions are primarily aimed at ensuring consumer health, guaranteeing fair practices in international food trade and coordinating all work on food standards carried out by international governmental and non-governmental organizations. For more information, see our updated blogpost.
